EcoQuest Dealers

Fueled as much by the inspiration of her mother as by her own drive to encourage others, Melissa and Andy Oberle are building an EcoQuest business worth noting.

Pearls of WisdomMelissa's mom always gave her timely, relevant encouragement and advice that affected all the areas of her life. She remembers her mother's words fondly and recalls them often.

"Honey, I know you will"A few days before her mother passed away, Melissa sat on the edge of her mom's bed and recalls: "As I sat there I put my hand on my mom and told her, 'Mom, I have found a wonderful business with a wonderful product and I believe I can do it successfully.' Without hesitation, she put her soft hand on my thigh and replied; 'Honey, I know you will.' And as I looked out the window, it started to snow."

So began Melissa Oberle's EcoQuest journey. Now, approximately 7 years later and with husband Andy by her side, their business provides them a handsome income, freedom, and most significantly, a way to encourage others to achieve the same.

"It's only temporary: is it going to matter in 5 years?"Everyone experiences hardship in their lives. Ironically, that's oftentimes when we gain meaningful wisdom.

Melissa has experienced two heart-breaking losses in recent years. First, her 23 year old little sister was in a fatal car accident and most recently her mother passed away. Yes, the losses broke her heart but they strengthened her will.

"I feel the biggest gift God has given me is vision to be able to see the potential in myself and in others. I tell people, 'you have found the best home based business in the world, now let me help you."'

In the beginning, it took a long time for Andrew to truly believe in the business. However, Melissa muses, "I've found that action and results get assistance and acceptance. "She has always been a natural encourager, and with her business she found an avenue to put to action, in a big way, the advice her mother always gave her.

On tough days Oberle reminds herself that "a bad day with EcoQuest is better than a good day at work."

"Never Postpone Joy"
"My parents always showed me the importance of lifting up one another-the fact that people need hope," Melissa shares. "In our team we believe in quick recognition."

With the help of modern technology, Andy and Melissa celebrate their team's individual achievements almost instantly:

IM (instant messaging) newsflashes - used when someone sells a unit, recruits a new Dealer or any other achievement worth noting. IM's help promote team unity and encouragement.
Weekly team calls - these are brand new and we have them every Wednesday night.
Send cards - there are few things that have as much impact as simply sending a card to congratulate, encourage, or simply keep a connection. Recently I sent a card of condolence to a person who lost a dear pet.

"EcoQuest is a real business, but we work on making it fun. We laugh and giggle a lot, but we're professional throughout," says Melissa.

The Oberle's have two boys, Lucas, 9 and Joseph, 7. "My kids are full of love," Melissa proudly shares. Andy and Melissa are truly grateful that their EcoQuest business allows them to spend so much time with them. "In the simple truths Web site I found what I believe to be so true, that love is spelled T-I-M-E."
