Vollara FreshAir Box

If you are in need of an air purifier and you don't have the big money that a full house model requires, the solution is the FreshAir Box by Vollara, formerly EcoQuest International. The unit also has a UV light to help kill additional germs, and just like the bigger unit called the FreshAir Surround, it also has a high intensity mode called he away mode (where you obviously have to be away from your home) that will sanitize and super clean your air leaving it fresh and clean smelling and with less germs.

This mode runs for 2 hours and runs at the highest settings available in this machine. The maximum output of activated oxygen, or more commonly known as ozone, is used and the building or home where the machine is must be unoccupied. But it is worth the 2 hour wait because of what happens to the air in your home.

The name Vollara is the new name given to the company that was once known as EcoQuest International. The company formerly based in Greeneville Tennessee is well known for selling an advanced line of air purifiers, supplements, vitamins and other environmental technology healthy living products.

The name Vollara is a verb from the Latin and means, "to fly". I can't say that I've ever heard of the name before, or whether it's just a derivation from whatever Latin word it comes from.

The company will manufacture many different kinds of air purifiers that will clean the air in your home and office. It will also sell a line of supplements and vitamins and energy drink from Muscadine grapes.

This new restructuring from EcoQuest International to Vollara is being billed as a "ground floor opportunity" which is a bit misleading since EcoQuest has been around for at least 10 years and for 10 years before that it was known as Alpine Industries. And all the while they basically sold the same air purifiers and some kind of supplements. While the air purifiers made by the company have evolved over the years to be more advanced, they still work the same basic way they did when Bill Converse invented this technology more than 20 years ago.

While there's nothing new under the sun with Vollara, it may be a good thing for the company to be renamed since the EcoQuest bankruptcy was looming over that entity. The new things for the company are new management, new names for products, a few new supplements and a new location in Dallas Texas. Vollara is probably working on some new products so they can have something original for the new company.

Vollara FreshAir Purifier

Since Vollara is now the new name of what was once EcoQuest International, the company has gone about renaming most products in the EcoQuest line. Top on the list is Vollara's bread and butter air purifier formerly known as Fresh Air by EcoQuest will now be renamed to FreshAir by Vollara or FreshAir Surround. Kind of confusing there, but that's what it says on the company website at Vollara.com.

So far it doesn't appear that the newly named top of the line air purifier has any significant changes except that it will be sporting the new company logo. As far as I can see, there also doesn't seem to be any new images of the Fresh Air Surround on the Vollara website. It all seems to be the same graphics taken from the old EcoQuest website.

You do have to wonder also if there are a lot of old Fresh Air purifiers in stock that either have to have their cases changed or if the logo on the air purification system can easily be changed. And let's also remember that there are probably several thousands of these purifiers own, but not yet sold by Vollara distributors.

Any way you look at it though this air purifier will create clean and fresh smelling air in your home jst the way it happens in nature. The technology in this machine is known as ActivePure Technology and it does all kinds of things to clean the air in your house. It gets rid of airborne contaminants, eliminates smoke and the odors from smoke, removes dust and dirt from your home and more. It leaves you home smelling like the air does after an afternoon thunderstorm. What could be better then that?

You will surely enjoy your air being cleaned by the new Vollara FreshAir purifier. All you have to do is look up an EcoQuest Dealer in your phone book or online (phone books will still list old EcoQuest dealers for about a year) or a new Vollara distributor by going to Vollara.com and looking around for the order button.

EcoQuest International Becomes Vollara

The former air purifier company known as EcoQuest International has now become Vollara. I'm not quite sure how the new owners of the company picked that name or what it means, but the fact is, is that EcoQuest as a company no longer exists, but their former products still do.

EcoQuest used to sell the Fresh Air by EcoQest and other air purification systems such as the Living Air Classic and more, but now they will have to completely rebrand themselves and that may come at a price for the new organization. The reason for this is because EcoQuest International has been widely known as one of the top air purifier companies in the world and is widely known for their name and all of their products.

The company has had the EcoQuest name for more than 10 years now and people are very familiar with their products and their brand. Another problem this new ccomapny will have to overcome is in their search engine and internet marketing efforts. What they probably didn't think of is that there are thousands upon thousands of links to all of their product pages and they appear very high in the search engines such as Google and Yahoo for terms that thousands of people search for every day.

All that will have to begin again, because not only have they changed the name of their company, they have changed the name of all their products as well. And since the new Vollara website has been completely redone, almost everything that is in the search engines for specific search terms such as Fresh Air will now soon simply go away. As of the time of this post. many search terms that show the website EcoQuestIntl.com being on the front page of Google, now just go to the main EcoQuest front page which now simply has a link to continue on to the new Vollara website.

Also, many of the satellite companies and websites EcoQuest had are now under one roof and incorporated into the Vollara brand. Some of those companies and websites are TryFreshAir.com (redirects to EcoQuestIntl.com and the to Vollara.com), their vitamin company that was once named Infinity Nutritionals and just recently became Heartland Select has now been incorporated into the Vollara brand.

This recent name change is also a big hurdle for many EcoQuest distributors who have their own websites and are running search marketing PPC campaigns since many of the sites they are sending traffic to from paid ads contain links that are no longer valid. In fact, I just checked an ad I saw come up for a top EcoQuest search term and the poor distributor has many links on his site and in his company shopping cart that now directly link to the main page of the new company website. So distributors that were getting sales directly from the internet are now put on hold because all their shopping carts and links no longer work.

Not only is this bad from the EcoQuest distributor, but customers looking for air purifiers, vitamins, skin care products and Muscadine grape energy drinks, will not be able to buy them right from the web for some amount of time (a quick check of their website and it appears that they no longer sell skin care products except for a product once called Invisible Gloves).

After reading the names of some of these supplements I have to think, wow, who was the brainiac in charge of marketing and name selection here? Almost all of the names of these supplements at the end of the list had names that actually reflected what they are or what they did for your body, but with this new naming scheme, customers will have no idea what they're looking at from the name alone. Everything is Re: (insert idiotic name brand). What's up with the Re: brand EcoQuest, oh, I mean Vollara? All is have left to say is, completely dumb move with that one.

How will this help the former EcoQuest by renaming and rebranding themselves? Well, it may take away the stigma from the sad news that EcoQuest was going bankrupt and had to be bought out by Aerus Holdings out of Dallas or completely go under. It wasn't actually EcoQuest that was going broke, it was the company that owned them, which was in turn owned by former EcoQuest CEO Mike Jackson.

This may help the company and it may hurt them, only time will tell. They have a huge mountain to overcome and that is rebranding themselves and regaining their name familiarity. People who were once familiar with the EcoQuest line of air purifiers, no loner will be able to find many of their products sine the redesign of the website. How, in today's world of being marketed on the internet, do you go about changing the mindset of people that don't really know who you are, they just know you and your products by name?

Anyway, all the air purifier world can do is wait and see what happens with the new EcoQuest International, now known as Vollara, whatever Vollara means.

EcoQuest Air Purifier Dealers Can Make More Money

For dealers from EcoQuest International the month of January will run from Jan 4th-Jan 31st.

During the month of January, dealers earned BONUSES will be calculated using the Old Compensation Plan. You will still need to achieve the qualifications as stated under the Old Compensation Plan. (Basically no change from how your Dec ’09 Compensation Plan worked).

However, if the New Compensation Plan would have earned you more under that Plan in January, then you will be paid the greater amount. If you are a dealer selling air pufication systems auch as the Fresh Air by EcoQuest, you will need to achieve the qualification requirements as stated under the New Compensation Plan to qualify. Settlement will take place one week following the Old Compensation Plan payout in February 2010. Weekly payouts don’t start until the month of February.

So basically, everyone will get paid the greater of the two Compensation Plans (Please note that Retail Prices and Wholesale Prices as well as QV/PV amounts will not change in January for the Old Compensation Plan from what they were in December 2009. EcoQuest will only use the new published PV values when calculating Bonuses under the New Compensation Plan)

EcoQuest International Warrently Policy Update

A. Prior Warranty claims have been very expensive, too expensive in fact. So EcoQuest International will be making some changes, including giving customers the chance to repair and replace units at very attractive prices. However, effective 12/1/09, DBG will no longer honor the warranty claims of the "old company" (i.e. Products that were sold prior to 3/28/09). Again, EcoQuest has have some creative and fair solutions for customers as described in (c) below.

B. DBG will continue to honor the warranty claims of products sold on or after 3/28/09. However, there will likely be some changes to warranty coverage for products sold in 2010. Those changes will be announced sometime in the next few weeks.

C. Beginning 12/1/09, for products sold prior to 3/28/09 that are still under the "old company" warranty policy (i.e. products sold between 12/01/06 and 3/27/09), DBG will provide special options to the customer for the following products: Fresh Air, Eagle, EcoBox, Classic, Laundry Pure. Each of those units will be eligible for (a) a complete repair OR (b) a complete reconditioning including consumable items and a limited warranty, both at attractive, special pricing.

EcoQuest Fresh Air Part 2

If you are looking at an air purifier and considering any one of a number of brands and models available today, you should check out the EcoQuest Fresh Air. It is made by EcoQuest International that used to be based in Greeneville, TN but has since moved to Dallas Texas. These are great machines and are used by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.

In the earlier post we looked at some of the technology in the Fresh Air purifier and in this post we will expand on that a little. This air purifier has 3 different ways or settings it can be used on for different or intense air purification needs:

Normal Mode Setting - This setting uses the ActivPure RCI technology I talked about yesterday that includes natural oxidizers at a low level for all of your normal air purification needs. It is basically a set it and forget it mode.

High Mode Setting - This level of air purification adds ozone or what EcoQuest calls activated oxygen for a more intense purification process when you have strong odors and need to get rid or things like smoke or want to help sanitize surface contaminants on things like your counter tops, stove, cutting boards and the like.

Away Mode Setting - As the name of this mode suggests, it is to be used when you are away from your home or the building you are using the purifier in. This setting give the strongest possible output of ozone the unit can produce and is for unoccupied buildings only.

In this mode you can set the machine to run for from 2 hours to 8 hours on this highest output and the front display will show you how much time is left on the away setting. Of course the best thing to do is to set the machine to run for the time you want and then just plan to be away from your house for about 30 minutes longer than the timer so your home will have time to air out before you return.

As you can see, the EcoQuest Fresh air has a lot of features other units that are more expensive don't have. If you are in the market for an air purifier the Fresh Air is definitely something to consider.

EcoQuest Fresh Air

The EcoQuest Fresh Air purifier is one of the most popular air purification systems in existence today. Why is that? It is because these systems can clean and purify the air in a large home and the air doesn't even have to pass through the system.

The way that works is through a process called Radiant Catalytic Ionization or RCI for Short. RCI uses ionization and ozone to clean the air and remove odors plus neutralize some harmful chemicals in the air. Ionization charges particles and causes them to clump together consequently making them heavier that the surrounding air. They then continue to gain mass as they clump and eventually fall out of the air due to their weight.

When ozone is used in the EcoQuest Fresh air (it can be turned off) it helps eliminate odors such as smoke smells, wet dog smell, old tennis shoes, musty basement smells and the like by neutralizing them through an oxidation process at the molecular level. Yeah, that's a little mumbo jumbo technical stuff there, but it's just there to let you know that the EcoQuest air purification process does work.

EcoQuest Electronic air cleaners range in price from about $50 to $749, but on some of their units dealer make a pretty good profit so you may be able to strike a deal with your local EcoQuest dealer.

If you would like to try one of their home air purifiers all you have to do is contact a dealer that sells these air cleaning systems in your area and they can arrange for you to have a free trial for a period of around 3 to 5 days.

When you get the unit in your home you will want to put it through its paces and try it out on everything. EcoQuest air purifier can clean the air in you home and leave it fresh smelling just like the air smells after a thunderstorm, but did you know you can use your purification system for much more than just setting it and forgetting it?

You can use the Fresh Air by EcoQuest to sanitize a bathroom by setting the unit on High Mode for 2 to 4 hours and closing the door and walking away. The units will automatically turn down to its normal settings once the High Mode cycle has completed and then you will have a super fresh and sanitary bath.

You can also use the unit to get the smell out of a stinky pair of tennis shoes. Just bring your air purifier out into the garage and place the shoes in front of the unit, set it on high for 8 hours and you will be suprised what a difference it makes after those 8 hours.

Okay, what does that mean?

The EcoQuest International and Heartland Select Customer Service Call Center, as well as the Best Finance Call Center, will close at 5 p.m. Eastern on Friday, 9/11/2009, in order to facilitate their relocation to the Bristol, Virginia facility. Both Call Centers will reopen at 9 a.m. Eastern in Bristol on Monday, 9/14/2009. There will not be a need to dial a different toll free number to reach either call center (800.989.2299).

In addition, the activTek offices will make the transition to the Bristol, Virginia facility at the start of the day on Friday, September 11. Therefore, the activTek Call Center will be closed this entire day. All activTek offices are expected to reopen on the following Monday, September 14.

EcoQuest International Energy Certificates Draw a Crowd and Meetings Get Results

Last February, Team Managers Michael and Cindy Marino, from Erie, Pa., had 17 people in attendance at their meeting, eight of which were guests.

"We offered the Energy certificate as an incentive, and it worked!" says Cindy. It works like this: invitations include a Free Energy for a Year certificate that can be activated when the person attends the meeting. They can then take it home and register online. It's that easy.
At their meeting, one new Dealer was signed. "The couple had been to a potluck that Kim Law and the Dodson's had, and this time they were sold! They are talking about a Success Pack next month," says Cindy.

"We believe that the wonderful PowerPoint presentation sparked some serious interest. They stayed after the meeting and asked a lot of questions. You could see the wheels turning!"

Good things continued to happen after the meeting. "I got an e-mail from Kim Law this morning telling me about a Dealer she invited who had been inactive for 2 years," says Cindy. "After the presentation she said, 'For the first time I get it--I understand it!' She is fired up. The day after the meeting she met with two people and presented the technology, and believes she will get sales from both of them."

Cindy and Michael used name badges, sign-in sheets, and more provided by EcoQuest. "We used to spend hours making stuff like this for smaller meetings, and [EcoQuest] took the work out if it for us."

"This meeting was a huge stretch for my shy husband" states Cindy. "He stepped out of his comfort zone by deciding that he would do the presentation, and he was wonderful! He spent the day practicing the PowerPoint by listening to Angelo Martino, Jane Gillen, and Jon Bender."

EcoQuest International And Hand Sanitizers

Many people assume that frequently using hand sanitizers will protect them against bacteria and viruses lurking on the surfaces around them, but that's not entirely so.

Coordinating Manager Bob Colasanti knows that the best way to grow a successful organization is through local meetings. He recently held one in his hometown of Jacksonville, FL where a brand new Dealer and his guest showed their excitement by traveling over 4 hours to attend.

"One new Dealer and his guest, traveled all the way from Tampa, Fl. to come to my meeting in Jacksonville, Fl. That is a 4 and a half hour drive. And they drove back home that night.

"This reminded me of when I was a new Dealer in EcoQuest. I traveled several hours to go to meetings in 6 different states. As a result, I learned how to do good meetings and have had hundreds of them in my 9-year career with the company."

Brian and Joyce Raines have a white carpet in their house. As you can imagine, white carpet can get dirty with normal wear and tear. A few months ago, tea was spilled on the carpet, leaving a horrible stain.

"I used my Bissell steam cleaner with their proprietary cleaner, but it could not get the stain out," says Brian.

A friend suggested they use OxyClean. "I scrubbed and scrubbed," says the Easley, S.C., Dealer. "No results."

They called Service Master, who did a fine job cleaning the carpet, "but they couldn't get the tea stain out."

EcoQuest International EcoPower4 Information

The air purifier company EcoQuest International has received some concerns from the field regarding the lack of UL certification on the temporary EcoPower4 unit they currently have in stock.

These units are QPS and NRTL certified and currently meet the criteria for UL approval. UL Certification is pending at this time, therefore the current EcoPower4 will not carry a UL Certified label.

Air purifier maker EcoQuest International has been aquired by the former Electrolux company now known as Aerus Holdings.

EcoQuest is a direct selling company or multi-level marketing (MLM) company that sells air purifiers, supplements, healthy living technologies, water purification products and other high tech products for improving lives. The company is based in Greeneville Tennessee and has products lines known as EcoQuest, Infinity, Heartland Select, activTek and UNOVUS which have all been aquired by Aerus.

The founder of EcoQuest, Mike Jackson, stated he is excited about the future of EcOQuest International and the partnership with Aerus. For the time being EcoQuest will operate as a seperate entity on its own, but its manufacturing operations will eventually be incorporated into Aerus' facilities in Bristol Virgina and Dallas Texas.

We might have to call it "Meeting Mania." Since Mike Jackson challenged you to conduct in-person meetings, we have received plenty of reports by phone and email. You are conducting meetings all across the country, and our February sales and sponsorships prove it.

In just two weeks, Key Managers Jerry and Trudi Begler participated in a three-day trade show and held two open meetings about the EcoQuest Opportunity.

"We have been extremely fortunate to witness a higher than normal recent re-activation of Dealers now wishing to re-establish their home-based EcoQuest businesses," says Jerry. "We are being told that overall economic circumstances are driving them to closely re-evaluate what we have to offer."

Due to less-than-expected demand for this service, and other related challenges with delivering expected features, a joint decision has been made, by both EcoQuest and the company that supplies and processes the Business Solutions MasterCard, to end the EcoQuest Business Solutions MasterCard program.

As of March 10, 2009, EcoQuest International will no longer accept new accounts for the EcoQuest Business Solutions MasterCard. They will continue offering the Extended Payment Plan and Merchant Account Services you already use. EcoQuest is also actively investigating alternatives to the EcoQuest Business Solutions MasterCard, and will offer those services when possible.

Air Purifiers a way of life for EcoQuest Internation Dealers:

Face-to-face meetings aren't a new strategy for Ken and Mary Dockery, Master Managers from Spring Branch, Texas. In fact, they built their business on them. Maybe that's why the Dockerys couldn't resist being some of the first Business Owners to participate in Mike Jackson's meeting challenge. Earlier this month, Mike challenged Business Owners to schedule 100 public meetings in February.

Their first public meeting since the challenge, held in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, was intended to help new Business Owner Dan Gaskin get his business off the ground. And did he ever! Dan and his new recruits, Dwayne and Amanda Roberts, enticed 25 people to their meeting with a new and interesting technique. They handed out Free Energy for a Year coupons with their invitations.
"In order to activate their coupons, they had to go to the meeting and listen to the presentation," says Ken. "I thought it was innovative and creative - and it worked!"

Dan and the Roberts also raised interest in their meeting by focusing on a community problem - skunks. "Everybody in their neighborhood was 'skunk conscious' because skunks had been getting under houses and spraying," says Ken. "That's actually how Dwayne and Amanda got into the business. They go to church with Dan, and they were talking about skunks getting under the house. Dan's wife told them that Dan had something that could help. Dan put the unit in, and it totally eliminated the odor. So they got excited."

Flyers announced the meeting with a double-header agenda - an answer to the skunk issue and a chance for free energy for a year.

"Eight units were sold," Ken says. "Two Business Owners signed on - one is an electrician who is very excited about the PowerwoRx, and the other is the Animal Control guy who tells people how to get rid of their skunks!"

Not only that, but Dwayne and Amanda will be picking up a Master Pack. This meeting truly met people where they live, says Ken. "Identify a problem and offer a solution. Then people will listen to you. As we've always believed, if you want to build this business you have to go far enough into the lives of others to bring them back out with you."

Ken and Mary now are planning more meetings. "We've done one meeting. We've got two more scheduled. We'll have at least one a month, and probably two a month. We built our business on meetings, but we got away from it a couple of years ago. We use every available strategy. Frankly that's what has allowed us to stay alive and sustain our business."

John Ellsworth was feeling trapped in his job. After 17 years as a branch manager at a manufacturing company, hostile management took over. He was in his fifties and knew he was "on the way out the door. I was an overpaid, over-aged executive," John says.
"I was miserable," he says. "I made the decision that I had to leave my job. I had no control over my life. I couldn't handle it anymore." That's when he met Kellie Alderton, who introduced him to the EcoQuest Opportunity.

John and his wife, Marcy, were living in Medina, Ohio, at the time. John continued to work full time while he pursued his home business on a part-time basis. It wasn't easy those first six months, and John wondered if the Opportunity was right for him.

"I thought I knew how to communicate with people and knew how to operate and run a business until I got my own business," John says. John and Marcy had both fallen in love with the products, so that wasn't the problem.

In spite of a love for the technology and highly inspirational trips to Success Institutes in Greeneville, the Ellsworths' home business was not getting off the ground. After six months - in spite of Kellie's encouragement not to give up or get discouraged - John did some soul searching.
"That's when I realized that it's not just what you do, but what you inspire others to do," says John. "It took me a while to learn how to work with people and inspire them. A light bulb went on."

John credits his turnaround to personal development. "I didn't put much emphasis on personal development in the beginning," John says. "I learned that you simply cannot inspire people beyond where you are. If you are low, you will have a tough time finding people who want to work with you."

One of John's favorite authors is John Maxwell, who teaches the Law of the Lid - the principle that leadership ability is the lid that determines a person's level of effectiveness. At that six-month point, John changed himself, his thought patterns, and his processes, he says. After listening to a Scott Frenzel workshop on goal setting, John and Marcy set their goals for the next five years.

"I was listening to Scott's workshop and all of a sudden, my whole life changed," says John. "I wrote my goals. I had a clear vision. I knew what I had to do."

And things started changing as John began to build himself back up with personal development techniques. "My business really took off. But more importantly, I learned that I never had any confidence in myself. I regained my confidence in my mid-fifties and finally learned to accept myself. What I learned through this process with EcoQuest is something I would never give up. This is more than a business."

One of the goals in the Ellsworths' five-year plan was to choose a place to live and set up for their retirement. Because of EcoQuest, they were able to complete that goal. "In that period, we bought land in Tellico Village in Loudon, Tennessee," says John. "Five years later we moved down. We rented while we built our new home."

These goals were met because John and Marcy followed a proven process that includes sharing the product, sharing the opportunity, and personal development, he says. "Never, ever overlook personal development. Start believing in yourself. Believe in the people you work for and who work for you. And follow the process - it works!"

EcoQuest helped John and Marcy build a successful business and a new home on the lake. John bought a sailboat for that lake. And instead of slaving away in a hostile environment in the corporate world, he sits in his sailboat to make his company calls.

A regrettable aspect of owning pets is that sometimes they have to go to the vet. Angelo and Angela Elder turned that unfortunate event into a fortune just by talking to people in the waiting room.

"I was at a animal hospital," says Angelo Elder. "I always talk to people there with their pets to try to find out what they might need. In a conversation, I talked to a man who worked for a global company. I gave him materials."

That chance meeting led to a phone call, says Angelo. "After meeting with seven to eight employees and managers, I left materials again. Then I had another meeting with a vice president." As anyone who has ever struck a commercial deal knows, these things don't happen overnight. It often takes several meetings to make a deal.

Cleaner Air Found to Add 5 Months to Life

Finding Meetings in your area:

To look up meetings by state, you have a few options - The "Open Meetings" and "Search Meetings By State" icons.

Open Meetings:

Select "Open Meetings" (tab at the top of your screen or icon at the lower, right of your screen).

Now, choose Open Meetings for the U.S. or Canada.

The next screen should display a map of the U.S. or Canada. Click on the state (or province) you wish to find a meeting in.

This screen will display a list of meetings in that particular state. If you see a meeting on the list that interests you, click on it, and that meeting's details will be displayed (time, date, host contact info, etc.). The Open Meetings option will also tell you if the meeting is a one-time event or a recurring meeting. This information is displayed next to "Date or Frequency."

All meetings that have been submitted to EcoQuest will be displayed on the Open Meetings page, even if the date has not yet been determined for the meeting. This will allow you to at least see that there is an upcoming meeting in that area. If a meeting you're interested in attending does not display a date yet, keep checking back.

Meetings By State:

Select "Meetings by State" (tab at the top of your screen or icon to the right of your screen).

This screen will display a map of the United States. You will see various colored dots throughout the map. Each dot represents a meeting in that state. Each color represents a different type of meeting (Mike Jackson Meeting, Dealer Meeting, Heartland Select, etc.) Check the legend at the bottom of your screen to find out what color dot corresponds with what type of meeting.

Note that dots do not represent that exact location of a meeting, only the state the meeting will be held in. Click on the dot for meeting details.

Only meetings with set dates will be displayed on the Meetings By State page. To view submitted meetings with dates yet to be determined, you must check Open Meetings. This page will also not specify whether a meeting is a one-time event or recurring meeting. Again, check Open Meetings for this information.

Meetings By Calendar:

Select "Meetings by Calendar" (tab at the top of your screen or icon to the right of your screen).
This page will pull up a calendar, displaying the current month. You will see various colored dots on the calendar. Each dot represents a meeting on that particular date. Each color represents a different type of meeting (Mike Jackson Meeting, Dealer Meeting, Heartland Select, etc.) Check the legend at the bottom of your screen to find out what color dot corresponds with what type of meeting.

To view a different month's meetings, click the month forward or back at the top of the calendar.
Note that Meetings by Calendar will show all meetings in the United States occurring on the date you choose. You must click on the meeting's "dot" to find out where the meeting is located.

Submitting Your Meeting to EcoQuest:

If you are holding an EcoQuest meeting, we encourage you to submit your meeting information to us so that it can be included on the Meetings website for other Dealers to view. Here's how:

Click on "Request an Open Meeting" at the top, right of your screen (green button).

Log in with your username and password (same username and password you use for EBC).
Fill in your meeting's information. If you don't know all the details of your meeting yet, make a comment in the text box at the bottom of the page to let us know this is partial information. If any of your information is missing, and you do not let us know you have submitted partial information, you will be contacted by EcoQuest's Sales Manager Support department for the missing details.

To submit or edit information about your posted meeting, you may fill out another meeting form (Be sure to leave a comment in the text box at the bottom of the page to let us know this is a change or addition to an already submitted meeting.)

Once you have filled out all your information, click "Submit" at the bottom of your screen.

Your meeting information will then be reviewed by EcoQuest and posted on the Meetings website.

Note that we will be sending out a "New Meetings Update" on Tuesday of each week. If you are holding a meeting in your area, be sure to submit it before Tuesdays to make sure you are included in that week's announcement.

Mike Jackson challenges you to schedule 100 public meetings in February. "We want 100 professionally conducted events open to the public to which anybody can bring people. This is our target!"

Go to the website to post your private meetings as well. "We are going to honor all the people who do private meetings too," says Master Manager Evelyn Nelson. "We're asking them to post their private meetings. Just put in date, time, and name. That way, we'll be able to gauge how many meetings are going on."

Set some exciting goals for your life with dates and time frames--some dreams for you, your family, and your business. Set some income goals for the week, the month, the quarter, the year. Set some organizational, promotional, and sponsoring goals. How much do you want to earn?

Put some balance in your business plan with recruiting and retailing. Be a personal example for your group right now. Start this week. Retailing creates instant income, and recruiting creates residual income. We've got to have balance.

Take a major and a minor for your EcoQuest business. Be a specialist rather than a generalist. Become a professional. Whether you major in Fresh Air, PowerwoRx or Heartland/Infinity2, remember to have strong follow-through with a minor.

Don't take shortcuts to success. Use your tools like the Living Proof, Petri dish, Certified Space brochures, Hawaii certificates, and so on.

Doctors Report 'Alarming' Rise Of MRSA In Kids

Hard-to-treat MRSA bacteria more than doubled from almost 12 percent to 28 percent in 21,009 pediatric head and neck infections caused by staph germs from 2001 through 2006.

"This is a major public health problem," says Dr. Robert Daum, a University of Chicago expert in community-acquired MRSA.

These include certain ear and sinus infections, and abscesses that can form in the tonsils and throat.

EcoQuest Business Owner Perspectives

How is it that when all EcoQuest Business Owners have the same access to support and products, some succeed and others don't? It's all in how you think, says Jodi Ouellette.
"The mechanics and tools we have in this company are the same," says the Coordinating Manager from Champion, Mich. "We have access to all the same products, tools, training, leadership, and materials - so what's the difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful person in our business? It's what they're thinking about."

Jodi and her husband Mark joined EcoQuest in 2001 after Jodi responded to Dr. Mayra Llado's Internet ad. "We were closing our startup business when I found EcoQuest - literally," says Jodi. The Ouelettes were sitting in an attorney's office signing the papers to close their manufacturing enterprise when the e-mail came through. "It was the greatest blessing ever, although it was at a devastating time."

At Dr. Llado's request, Jodi took a look at the technology and a lead-based, Internet system for sales and recruiting. She fell in love with both. "Once I made the decision that this business was it, we were going to run with it. There was no Plan B."

Run with it, they did. "I really liked that I could operate completely from home. I loved the idea of doing a lot of business over the phone and on the Internet."

But several months into her business, Jodi started spinning her wheels, she says. "We were doing okay, but I was not getting the results I wanted. I started asking key questions. What are successful people doing that I'm not doing?"

For Jodi, it all boiled down to personal development. "The only thing I wasn't doing was a daily focus on personal growth, feeding my brain," she says. "As soon as I started getting my thinking, my mindset, and my psychology in the right place - and doing it daily - everything else came together."

Now each day starts with exercise and some form of personal development, says Jodi. "I believe that 98 percent of a person's success is literally due to the way they think. We have a system that teaches all the how-to's. To that we add a focus on teaching personal growth. This business was my first introduction to that. I didn't quite get it initially."

Once she "got it," Jodi was able to quit her day job in hotel management, marketing, and sales after six months. Although Mark lost his job in 2003, the EcoQuest business was doing so well that he was able to become a stay-at-home dad. He also works the EcoQuest business with Jodi. The couple has two children, Landon, 6, and Trenton, born in August 2008.

Within their organization, Jodi and Mark conduct three personal development calls a week. "Some people will participate in those calls or maybe show up once a week to a call and consider that their growth for the week," says Jodi. "If you don't participate in personal growth daily and start your day getting your mind straight from the beginning, you're doing yourself and your business a huge disservice. I usually tell people that if they don't take the time to grow themselves, they're wasting their time with everything else."

Developing good business relationships is a must for the Ouellettes, who started a BNI chapter in their area three years ago. "I get great business contacts through that organization." The couple has found that building great business relationships also builds great friendships. "If you invest the time and energy into people, you make lifelong friends," Jodi says.

Another strategy is team calls. During all their calls, the Oullettes make a point of recognizing the good work of their team members. They share testimonies, ideas, and successes with each other. "We are a volunteer army. Every person is there by choice. We commend people when they take their business seriously. We are always on the lookout for people who are doing things right."

This is an important aspect of team building, says Jodi, because "we can do a lot of action and get nowhere because we lack confidence. Unfortunately, a lot of people go through an entire career lifetime without recognition."Recognition breeds confidence, and confidence breeds success.

When we believe in ourselves and know that what we have is the best in the world, success will follow, says Jodi. "We've got to make a commitment to our business. We can't just play business and do it casually. If we want to turn this into a very successful business, we need to strive for excellence in everything we do everyday."

Angelo and Dee Martino celebrated their tenth anniversary with EcoQuest in November. They just earned their fifth bonus car, and are living a lifestyle that others only dream about. Yet Angelo can sum his business experience up in one word.

Relationships.

"Relationships are important to building a business like mine," says Angelo. He says his success has come through meeting people where they are and working with them. "Build trust. Don't focus on how much you can get, but how your business will impact others. Don't over-inflate things and talk hype. Roughly 99 percent of the country is worrying about mortgage payments and groceries right now. Don't talk luxury cars. Instead, focus on what they can do to bring more money in. An extra $500 a month or more is going to be a big help. With EcoQuest, we are in a position to help them."

Now more than ever people around us are in need, says Angelo. "Recessions and economic changes are always going to come. The EcoQuest Opportunity is a way that a person or family can safeguard against a recession."

For 11 years, Paul Hancock organized his life around his work schedule as a manager at Wal-Mart. "Before, I took my work schedule home and we would plan our time around that," says Paul. "We sacrificed a lot. I was taking the leftovers on a weekly basis when I worked in a corporate setting."

Now Paul and his wife, Kelley, still sit down with the calendar every Sunday night to plan their week, but a wonderful thing has happened since they've discovered EcoQuest.

"Now I start with what's important," says Paul. "I am able to look at all the things that are important to us in our lives - our kids, each other, our church, social events - and plan those first. EcoQuest has given us the ability to start with that. My business activities fall in around that time. That is exactly the opposite of Wal-Mart. My retail career in corporate America was preventing me from fulfilling my role as a father, husband, and member of the church."

Working 60-plus hours at nights and on holidays took Paul away from everything that was important to him, namely his family. The couple has two children: Jonathan, 5, and Emily, 3.
"Not being there at night to tuck your kids in and say prayers because you work is really tough," says Paul. "Missing out on important events in the life of your family is hard. I was looking for a business that would change my life."

Paul and Kelley found EcoQuest in June 2006. Paul stayed with Wal-Mart while he was building his new business. After eight months, he was making more money with EcoQuest than he was making on salary at the retail store. After nine months, the Hancocks were awarded their first bonus car, and they were building a stellar team.

"We got really excited about the idea of being able to make money at the service of other people and helping them grow a strong business so we could achieve freedom for ourselves," says Paul.

The Hancocks have worked their business from many different angles - warm markets, cold markets, direct mail, Internet leads, trade shows, advertising, BNI, and even public speaking for civic clubs and retirement homes. "We did a little bit of everything," says Paul. "None of this was a grand slam for us. Not one was a homerun hit, but doing a little bit of all of it has always brought in business. There has always been something happening. Our pipeline has always been full of prospects because we've learned that massive action bring massive results."

To build relationships with business partners, Paul recommends doing whatever you can to help them be successful. "Plug them into the system. Get the focus off you, your business, and making money, and put the focus on other people. Success in this business is about identifying other people's needs and what they want to accomplish, either for themselves or for their security. Work to solve those problems with them."

Adopt the visions of your partners as your own, says Paul. "If they want to get out of debt, embrace that as if it were your own goal. Walk with them in their shoes out of debt or away from a dead-end job. It's more than just patting them on the back and saying 'good luck.' Be part of the experience. Go there with them."

Paul attributes this attitude to the success of his business. "People leave businesses all day long but they don't leave friends. When you really embrace your partners, and you start to work with them to achieve their goals, you make friends. When they see that you are serious and that you believe in them, they are going to take your support and encouragement and turn it into success.

"Finding EcoQuest is "just the beginning of a journey to lead us to the people we can help," says Paul. "Our goal is help other families obtain time and freedom. If we have a giving attitude about that, we believe that God will send people to us who need hope, who feel trapped. It's important to us to emphasize that this business is an act of faith for us on a daily basis. We trust in God to help us."

Many different names are used in describing or classifying air purifiers made by EcoQuest International out of Greeneville Tennessee.

Some people have used the term Living Air Purifier, while this term can be used to classify all of the air purifiers mades by EcoQuest, there isn’t an air purifier called the Living Air Purifier.

For people that use this term, they may be thinking of the Living Air Classic which is one of the first purifiers made by EcoQuest or Alpine Industries. The Classic, or something very close to it has been in existence for more than 20 years.

Many of you reading this may already own your own EcoQuest air purifier.

It could be a Fresh Air or Breeze or a Living Air Classic.

However, the most popular air purifier made by EcoQuest is the Fresh Air. You may love your Fresh Air and think that it’s doing it’s job every day by sitting up there on top of your china cabinet and cleaning your air hour after hour.

But did you know that your Fresh Air purifier can be use for much more than just cleaning the air in your home.

One of the most popular things you can do with your air purifier is to use it for a specific purpose like getting the odor out of an old smelly pair of tennis shoes or deodorizing the interior of your car or a whole host of other uses.

If you have a bad smelling pair of tennis shoes what you can do is take your Fresh Air and your tennis shoes out to the garage and place your shoe in front of the air purifier on something that is 6 to 8 inches high so they will be directly in the air flow of the unit.

You the turn the purifier on high or sanitize for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours depending on the severity of the odor. After a few hours in front of your purifier your shoes will smell fresh and clean.

You can also put your Fresh Air in your can if you need to get rid of a smoke smell or other odors. Use an extension cord and place the air purifier in your can with the windows rolled up. (leave room for the extension cord) Turn the unit on high for 2 to 8 hours and at the end of the chosen cycle turn on your air conditioning fan to circulate the purification through your a/c ducts.

There are many things you can do with your purifier from EcoQuest. Hopefully this will give you some ideas to come up with your own creative solutions to your air quality and household odor problems.

Air Purifier Maintenance

Performing maintenance on your Fresh Air by EcoQuest International is simple and only takes 10 minutes or so.

Once a month the Fresh Air machine tells you when it’s time for maintenance. There is a little led screen on the front of your air purifier and it will say perform Maintenance when it is time.

To do the necessary cleaning of your air purification system, take 2 screws off the back of the Fresh Air, remove the back cover, take two screws off of the top of the lint screen and then remove the purification plate from inside its cage. The plate is located just below the Radiant Catalytic Ionization cell in newer models of the Fresh Air.

You will then need to spray the purification plate with Windex, scrub it with a tooth brush and let it dry. You received a second plate with your air purifier, take that plate and put it back in the Fresh Air machine and you are ready to go for another month.

Remember to press the Reminder Reset button between the Purifier Up and the Fan Up buttons if it does not reset automatically.

Living Air Classic

The EcoQuest Living Air Classic is the air purifier that really started the entire air purification revolution.

Oh yes, there were a few so-called air purifiers before the Living Air and there are and will be many, many more after the Classic but this air purifier, ladies and gentlemen is the unit that made clean air for real.

I’m not exactly sure when the first Classic was sold by EcoQuest. We have friends that claim their classic is more than 16 years old and I have worked on XL-15’s that look every bit of 15 or more years old. So I guess we can safely say that the Living Air Classic is at least 16 years.

Before the Classic or the XL-15 there was something called the 880 from Alpine Industries but that never became a really popular purifier.

William Converse started Alpine Industries some 20 years ago and made air purification and Alpine a household name in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s and the Living Air Classic was the unit that people remember.

More than 6 million of these air purifiers have been sold.

The Classic was the most popular air purifier to be sold using the ionization / ozone method of cleaning the air invented by Bill Converse who is now with Natural Air working on less expensive supposedly more affordable air purifiers.
